Shop Fishers & Giving Tuesday
The Shop Fishers: Holiday Series returns this fall, kicking off on Small Business Saturday, November 26. Shop and dine at local businesses this holiday season while saving big on special deals and promotions!As part of the Shop Fishers: Holiday Series, Giving Tuesday will be celebrated on November 29, so you can support local businesses while also giving back to nonprofits around the Fishers community.Check back on This is Fishers later this month for a listing of deals and more information about this year’s celebration of local small businesses!
Veterans Day
The City of Fishers and Fishers Armed Services Commission invites residents to attend our annual Veterans Day ceremony next Friday, November 11. Held at Knowledge Services (9800 Crosspoint Blvd, Indianapolis) this year, the event is free and open to the public. A livestream will be available on Fishers Magazine’s Facebook page.

Fishers is partnering with Towne Post to curate a community time capsule that will be opened in 50 years in 2073. The community is invited to submit ideas for items that should be included in the capsule on the Towne Post website.

Pumpkin Chuckin’ at the Fishers AgriPark
Dispose of your Halloween pumpkins by launching them with a catapult with Pumpkin Chuckin’ at the Fishers AgriPark on November 5. Hosted by the Fishers Fire Foundation, this event raises funds to support local firefighters. Registration is required to participate and a $10 minimum donation per pumpkin is requested.
State of the City
Join Mayor Fadness at the annual State of the City address on Thursday, November 17. No registration is required to attend this free presentation. The event will also be livestreamed on the Fishers Magazine Facebook page.
Geist Waterfront Park Preview Night
