Touch-a-Truck

Time Capsule Letter Writing Campaign
For Fishers’ 150th birthday, share the story of Fishers with future residents by writing a letter to be included in our community time capsule to be opened in 2073. Fishers is partnering with Towne Post to curate a community time capsule that will be placed inside the keystone of the new Arts & Municipal Complex. Letters can be delivered in person to various locations or addressed to “Fishers Time Capsule” and mailed to 3 Municipal Drive, Fishers, IN 46038. FFD Cul-de-sac Drills
The Fishers Fire Department is excited to return to the cul-de-sacs, for a second season of neighborhoods meeting firefighters one on one. Firefighters will pull out hose, spray water, and give little and big kids alike an opportunity to handle the hose line or just run through the spray. Summer Concerts at the NPD AMP
The free concert series includes performances at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater on Tuesday evenings starting on June 6.

Spark!Fishers
The annual, week-long festival will take over downtown from Tuesday, June 20, through Saturday, June 24! This year’s celebration kicks off with a concert on Tuesday, June 20, and continues all week before wrapping up with a festival on Saturday, June 24 at the Municipal Complex featuring a parade, multiple stages of live music, food, drink, and artisan vendors, art displays, kids and teen zones, aerial drone show, and so much more.

Trails and White River Park Surveys
The City of Fishers is seeking public input on the new Fishers White River Park and future plans to develop a better-connected network of trails and greenways throughout Fishers via community-wide surveys and events throughout summer. Fishers Farmers Market
The Fishers Farmers Market, presented by IU Health Fishers, is back every Saturday at the NPD AMP from 8 a.m. to noon. The market showcases vendors from Central Indiana that offer fresh produce, baked goods, honey, specialty food items, meats, coffee, plants, and more.
The Fishers Farmers Market at Saxony, presented by IU Health Fishers, takes place every Wednesday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. through August 30. Learn more at playfishers.com/FarmersMarket.
Geist Waterfront Park Officially Open
Geist Waterfront Park is officially open for guests. Beach access is open seasonally from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend. Residents must register for the free Fishers SmartPass for entry to the park. Water Amenities Now Open
The free splash pads at Holland Park and Billericay Park and the fountain at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater Pavilion are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (weather permitting) through Labor Day. Learn more at playfishers.com/WaterAmenities.
Geist Half Marathon Registration
Be a part of this year’s extra special Geist Half Marathon and 5k on Saturday, September 16. The race will feature the 13.1-mile race in addition to a 5-kilometer race, with optional VIP registration and volunteer opportunities.
