Don’t have anyone to celebrate Valentine’s Day with? No problem, grab your girlfriends and celebrate Galentine’s Day! Galentine’s Day originated on the NBC sitcom Parks & Recreation, and it’s observed the day before Valentine’s Day to celebrate friendship instead of a romantic relationship. Keep reading to see how you can celebrate locally in Fishers!
Unplug Soy Candles
Head over to Unplug Soy Candles to burn the perfect scent for your Galentine’s Day celebration. My personal favorite scents are White Tea and Rose Water. White Tea gives off a great floral scent with hints of jasmine, while Rose Water gives off a crisp and refreshing rose smell. They are the perfect scents to relax and unwind with your girlfriends!
Peace Water Winery
Wine is a key part of any girl’s night, but especially for Galentine’s Day. Head over to Peace Water Winery to shop for delicious wine at the only locally-owned California winery in Indiana. My favorite is the Passion Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a red wine with fruity notes, caramel, and sage. It is perfect if you like your wine a little sweet. If you want to get a head start on Galentine’s Day, check out their wine flight specials offered on February 11! Check out their Instagram for more details.
SweeTies
Don’t forget to end your night with a sweet treat! SweeTies has strawberry and red velvet cake pops that are perfectly decorated for Galentine’s Day. If you’re craving something lighter, macaroons are the way to go! With everything being homemade and fresh, you can’t go wrong with anything at SweeTies.
Hammer & Stain
If you’re looking for a hands-on activity for your night in, Hammer & Stain is perfect for you and your friends. While there are a number of items you can make such as door hangers, cornhole boards, headboards, and more, I recommend making cute matching pieces to signify your friendship!
