Compete With a Pro, Impact Youth with Star-Studded Topgolf Fundraiser
Athletes in Action, a ministry-led American sports organization, is thrilled to host the Pro Experiences fundraiser to support Athletes in Action and Brookside Community Play programs, a play-based program that helps youth on the Near Eastside of Indianapolis overcome trauma. On Monday, July 12, the event will take place at Topgolf Indianapolis, Fishers, from noon to 4 p.m. ET.
Youth from low-income homes quit sports six times more than those from high-income homes. Now more than ever, it’s imperative that individuals invest in play programs and community sports to support the youth of Indianapolis. By encouraging children to play, their lives will be enriched with positive experiences that will enhance their futures.
Proceeds from the event will go towards Athletes in Action’s volunteer talent, youth sports programs and Brookside Community Play’s summer camps. These camps provide an optimal opportunity for underserved youth to overcome real-life trauma issues through play-based programs, opening pathways of opportunity.
The Pro Experiences fundraiser features a star-studded lineup, including former Indianapolis Colts like Gary Brackett, Joe Reitz, Chandler Harnish, Ryan Kelly Ryan Diem, Rick DeMulling, Billy Brooks, Jermaine Chaney and more.
