This collaborative program between artist Jeanette Pomeroy Parssi and Ignite Studio offers participants a chance to create and share encouraging messages with others. This project is fashioned after the Japanese ’ema’, a tradition where someone writes a personal wish or creates a small work of art and hangs it with other encouraging messages on a special board. This reception will include refreshments and an opportunity to work alongside the artist and add a personal message. Drop-in through Dec. 21st to contribute or check out the collection of wishes added to the board. Open to all ages.
If you are unable to attend the reception, you may also stop by Ignite during the months of November through December 21 and pick up a packet with the materials to make your own ‘ema’. Follow our step-by-step detailed instructions in the packet or on HEPL’s YouTube channel.
