Having places to destress is essential for your mental, physical, social, and emotional health. Luckily, our vibrant city possesses many unique places to do so. In honor of May Mental Health Awareness Month, I created a list of five of places you can sit back, relax, and destress #AroundFishers.
Holland Park
Anyone up for good ol’ outdoor fun? Holland Park is a great spot to destress. Whether you want to spend time outdoors alone or with others, play sports, or walk along the trail, there is something for any age or ability. Fishers Farmers Market
Fresh, healthy food is good for the body and mind! The Fishers Farmers Market, located in downtown Fishers at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater, showcases vendors that offer fresh produce, baked goods, plants, and more. Other activities are also offered through special events at the Farmers Market, such as music at the market, Biz Kidz booths, and more.
